I guess I finally decided what I am doing for the next six months or so. I am flying back up to Maine the first week of June so I can visit a few people, then starting my summer job with Upward Bound until August. After that, assuming Olive Garden will welcome me back, the plan is to come back to SC and save up some more money. As much as I want to move into a new apartment and live paycheck to paycheck again (oh joy), I really should build my savings back up. I have already saved up a bunch for the wide angle lense that I want though I am wicked excited to start my job this summer too, it is going to be a blast. Why? A few of my friends from the program are going to be there, I get free room and meals for seven weeks, and I get a decent paycheck that I can save 100% of in the end. Not to mention I get to be a role model to high school kids who WANT to learn and better themselves. I should have applied for this job two years ago.

Photography; Grr. I have been slacking lately because I have been working and stressing out about all these plans. I really want to make more time for creative projects, I just need to build up the motivation. Which isn't always easy. I am working on restoring an old skateboard that I found though! I found it in a junkyard in AZ... haha I know, sounds sketchy. I have already sanded it down all nice and smooth - next step is to pick out exactly what design I want on the bottom, and then I am going to trace it out and paint it on. After I am happy with that, a clear coat or two is going on. Then I will decide if I should go all the way and put the grip tape, trucks, and wheels on. Probably will.

I guess that is all for now. Overall, I am currently in a decent place. I feel relatively centered with myself and what I want. I am impatient as all hell, but that is besides the point.
